• During the winter months, we require AWD or 4WD vehicles for times of snow or ice, as the road leading to the property consists of mostly paved terrain, with the last mile being gravel and surrounded by a dense forest.

• Rest assured that our homes are equipped with well-stocked kitchens, including all the utensils you'll need to whip up delicious meals. Additionally, a "starter set" of paper products awaits you, including toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent tablets, laundry pods, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These items are sufficient for one or two nights. Please note that hair dryers are not provided.

Summary: 1. We book a home 1-2 times a year in this area. WJ and surrounding area is wonderful. Great new downtown businesses! Very friendly people. Great hiking and plenty to do. 2. This is an absolutely beautiful home. Be sure to bring all your own spices, oils, toiletries, paper products, ziplock baggies, foils etc. Have your dinner and next days breakfast with you for the first night you get there. You will not want to go back out at night based on the roads. Ingals is 15 minutes away for anything you may need. Bring a hairdryer also. 3. Directions are very confusing. We literally found the cabin based on what it looked like from the outside. Signage is missing. The roads can be tricky till you get used to them. 4 wheel drive is helpful. They are very narrow with poor ability to pass another on coming car. Be aware these are true mountain roads. Steep drop offs to one side and drainage ditches on the other side. Overall ok once you get used to them. 4. Had to communicate with property manager regarding a beeping CO2 detector. We fixed it with a new battery but the unit needs to be replaced as it started beeping again after a day. (It still beeped outside in open air so we just unplugged it). We also fixed a leaky spigot at the kitchen sink which flooded underneath when we first got there. A washer needed adjusting and a tightened seal. Easy fixes. 4. This home is simply beautiful and very relaxing. It was clean (Thank you, Andrea) with wonderful furniture and very comfortable beds. TV is Roku. Internet works perfect. Beautiful view from the deck. Truly a rustic feel. There are 2 large dog pens in the garage with a ping pong table. Nice home for pets! Thank you. We will definitely book this home again.
