Summary: This was a great home in a nice central location. Easy to get to plenty of hiking and lake visits. Very nice to be close to shopping and dining in Truckee. I may have missed this, but home is a duplex which I was unaware. Fortunately, the other unit was not occupied, so no worries. I do wonder how things would be if it was occupied. I also was unaware that the main view from great covered deck area is a view of apartments. I feel like I’m nitpicking here, but want to give all thoughts. The house exceeded expectations and there was everything we needed for stay. Host was very easy to deal with as well as check in and check out. I already have recommended this home to friends and will likely revisit!
