Summary: Upon our arrival, we encountered difficulty entering the house. I reached out to the manager, who informed me that their system was experiencing issues, and she did not receive notification of our check-in. She provided a code to access the property, but it was not yet cleaned. Bedding sheets were scattered on the floor, and the bathroom was unattended. We waited for a couple of hours for the manager to arrive and clean the house. When it was almost bedtime for my preschooler, some bedding sheets were still left unwashed on the laundry room's floor. The manager did mention that she could come back the next day to finish the cleaning, but at this point, I decided to take care of the remaining cleaning myself. The owner of the house resided on the upper level, which did not usually cause any inconvenience. However, they had set their washing machine to operate every day at 3 am, which was directly above the bedroom where I slept. As a result, I was awakened every night at 3 am and could not fall back asleep until the machine stopped at approximately 5 am. If you are a lighter sleeper, the bedroom with the sauna definitely needs to be avoided. The house's location is ideal, as it is conveniently close to numerous places. Additionally, the neighborhood is peaceful and secure. In general, our stay was not enjoyable and I do not intend to reserve the same property if we return to Colorado Springs.
