Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is amazing, so close to Hadrians Wall, a mile from the Roman Army Museum. Walks out from the door. The cottage was warm and the decor bright, modern and curated. It works so well in the old building. 2 bedrooms, one twin and one double each with their own generously sized ensuite. The living areas were well planned with open plan kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen was well equipped and a welcome pack of milk, butter and a small loaf was a great idea especially as local shops are about 5 miles away.
Negative: The only small grumbles were the seating in the TV viewing area. 4 individual chairs which are not the most comfortable for watching TV. There was a leak from the shower in the twin room that dripped water through the ceiling. The Crabtree office dealt with it and the property manager.
