Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Amazing location in the hills with a great view, 10 minutes' drive from the coast and the beautiful town of Castelsardo. The property is enormous and spacious — with a private pool, tennis court, and plenty of outdoor space you can easily spend a full day here. The host was responsive and friendly: any issues we raised were resolved quickly, and we were even offered use of a larger pool next door. A great base for exploring the north of Sardinia, with shops and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Note: the roads leading up to the property are a bit rough — nothing dramatic, but good to know.

Negative: The property looks more modern in the photos than it actually is. There's some deferred maintenance, most notably the showers — some didn't work properly or leaked, and they were heavily calcified. The kitchen started with only the bare basics, though extras were provided quickly. We had the impression we were the first guests of the season, which explained a few teething issues.
