The Little Wolf Lodge is a beautiful Northern Michigan private lakefront property with plenty of privacy. Sitting back on two acres of land surrounded by trees and nature, this property was made for lovers of the outdoors. Located just miles away from downtown Lewiston, the Garland Golf Resort, and ATV trails, there is something for everyone at the Little Wolf Lodge - regardless of season!

Air Conditioning: There is no AC, but ceiling fans are located throughout the home. There are also window units in the upstairs bedroom.

Beach/Swimming: Little Wolf Lake is great for swimming and water activities! There is a no wake zone between 6:30p-10am. The lakefront has a sandy, but murky, bottom.

Master Bedroom: Located on the 2nd floor with a walkout deck a queen and twin bed
Bedroom #2: Located on the 2nd floor with two bunk beds

Boats: Two kayaks and a paddle board are available for guest use from Memorial Day to Labor Day

Cell Phone Service: Most major carriers will work in this area. Verizon can get spotty at times. The FVR team recommends using Wi-Fi calling if the service is unstable.

Dock: There is a dock at this property, but please know the water around the dock is very shallow

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: The fireplace located at the home is not for use at this time.
Fire Pit- Yes! Please stop and pick up firewood on your way to the property. Please check the daily burn permit status at https://www2.dnr.state.mi.us/burnpermits/. If you start a fire during a 'no-burn advisory', the person could be responsible for all costs related to the fire's damage. Please keep in mind that the yard is made up of pine needles so you should be extra cautious.
Fishing: Bluegill, sunfish, bass, walleye, perch, and pike are common to Little Wolf Lake!
Fishing License: A license is required in order to fish in Michigan.
Fishing Poles: Two children's poles, and a few adult fishing poles are located in the garage

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.
Parking: Two vehicles can park in the driveway in front of the garage, with additional parking on the crushed stone driveway leading up to the house. Please no parking down by the beach.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
