Positive: This house is like a fine wine: rich in character, with subtle notes of the past and a long-lasting impression. From fireplaces and paintings to quirky details like little metal horse fork holders (port-cuto) — every corner breathes history. The host welcomed us like old friends, giving us a tour of the estate, gifting a bottle of Pinot, and even showing us the distilling equipment that looked capable of supplying all of France. Set among vineyards, the house is truly spacious — we almost lost track of the kids right away, though luckily they always managed to find us again at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And yes, we’d love to return. Not only for the unique atmosphere, but also for that special feeling of stepping into another era.
