Summary: There were six of us - my husband and I, and my 2 sisters and their spouses. We are all retirees, two from Vermont and two from Washington State in the U.S. We took a river cruise, which was fabulous and explored the city on our own. It was lovely. Some of us went to Germany on a genealogy trip, while others had some mechanical car issues. We also visited the Heidelberg Castle in Germany, the Königsberg Castle and two wonderful villages in France. All was wonderful, especially when we added the wonderful dinners in the area. Re: our rental: Nathalie and Jean Ollivier were welcoming, giving us lots of information about the area. They left lovely welcome gifts. The apartment was clean, well stocked with what we needed. The only downside was that it would be perfect for four of us; it worked with 6 of us, but it then gave us only the kitchen to congregate. It was great to have the parking space; we had two cars and it wasn't always easy to find a place to park on the street. Again if it were 4 of us, it would have been easy with one car. We thank Nathalie and Jean Olliver for a great stay. Easy to get to the bakery, grocery and trams/trains. And Strasbourg is a worthy visit.
