The Space
Our home is an open floor plan with two levels. It is 3500 sq ft. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and beds to sleep 15 comfortably with lots of space to gather inside and outside.
The top floor has a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. This room has two dressers and two closets. There is also a closet in the bathroom.
The second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, and a triple bunk. This room also has a large closet and two dressers.
Also upstairs you’ll have a HUGE walk in entrance way, mudroom, laundry room complete with a laundry folding table and washer/dryer. The kitchen has a large island with 4 barstools and plenty of stocked cabinets. Enjoy a large farmhouse table with seating for 10.
Also in the kitchen/dining is a coffee bar with multiple tea options. Enjoy a toasty, quiet breakfast with the gas fireplace for ambient lighting.
Upstairs you’ll enjoy a step down living room with plenty of seating for a crowd. This 20x20 room boasts hardwood flooring, a very large smart TV, dvd player and beautiful windows to overlook the gorgeous backyard and wildlife. The livingroom has two couches, a rocking chair and two lazy boy recliners.
Also in the livingroom is a small desk for your remote work. High speed internet/wifi is available at this property.
There is an entrance door in the living room, but we ask guests to not use it because of the hardwood floor.
Off of the kitchen is a large 5x10 walk in pantry. Off the hallway is another bathroom.
The lower level has 1 bedroom with two bunk beds, a closet, and two dressers. Also enjoy a private bathroom.
The lower level has a complete personal gym with weights, treadmill and other exercise equipment. There is a large screen smart TV.
In the lower level is a comfortable seating area with a comfortable futon for additional sleeping. Also for additional sleeping are two, twin roll away beds.
Have children or family members who like to play games? Enjoy our extensive collection of board and card games downstairs with a table and seating for 8.
Guests are welcome to use the two car garage that is attached to the house. There are also cushions for the outdoor furniture that guests are welcome to use.
If your stay is in the winter, guests are welcome to use any sleds or snow shovels that are available. We even have a boot dryer available for our guests.
Outdoors you’ll love seeing the wildlife that comes in the yard. From squirrels to deer, birds and sometimes fox, you’ll see beautiful nature all around. In the backyard are apple trees that are fun during the autumn to pick with your family, or enjoy hiking our trails that connect to thousands of acres of state property.
Also in the backyard is a very nice swing set with slide and teeter totter. Your children will love to play here in the sunshine. Invite some friends for a BBQ with our flat top grill on warm summer evenings.
Are you a hunter? On our property are 3 hunting blinds that guests are welcome to use if they have a license and have reserved the property for hunting. We ask that these plans are made prior to the reservation.
Downtown Gaylord is approximately 15 min drive
Traverse city is just over an hour - Traverse city airport is 1hr 15 min drive depending on traffic
Treetops golf & ski area is an 16 min drive
Otsego golf & ski area is a 15 min drive
Michaywe golf is a literal stones throw about 3-8 min drive depending on the course you are playing!
