The Kings Point House is a unique lakeshore property with a large U-shaped dock and sloping lawn that can accommodate families and gatherings of 22! The house has been newly redecorated in a casual and contemporary Montana style. The view of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains will take your breath away, and can be seen from huge windows in almost every room of the house. We call it 'Lake TV' because the view and the parade of wildlife is ever changing with graceful osprey, swooping bald eagles, ducks, geese, and of course the neighborhood deer. The great room has a large stone fireplace and a log dining table that seats twelve with newly installed LVP flooring, opening onto a deck with seating and lounging under a large Ponderosa pine tree. The downstairs living room is cabin-retro with a wood-burning fireplace contrasting with a 42-inch flatscreen TV.
In the summer time, Flathead Lake is a boater's paradise - it is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi so even on peak weekends it seems uncrowded. There are many islands to explore, Native American rock paintings to be discovered, glassy coves for waterskiing, and private fishing spots to claim. The lakeside communities have public access where you can pull in to the dock and walk to world class dining. Glacier Park is an hour away, if you can tear yourselves away from the lake. Bigfork is just a short trip around the lake and offers great shopping and theater experiences, great dining, and a host of other amenities. Polson is just a 10 minute drive by boat or car for all of your necessities or to replenish your cold drinks. Once you find the Flathead, you will want to return again and again.

Summary: Comfortable lake house with plenty of room to enjoy our vacation. Everything we needed to make family style dinners was at the house in the kitchen. The large dining room table was big enough to seat all 8 of us for dinner and playing games. The view from the upstairs great room windows are incredible. Each night the moon came up and the reflection was right in the center of our lake view. It was so beautiful. We spent most of our time outside on the lawn playing games, or boating on our pontoon and swimming around the dock area. The dock area is perfect for little ones to swim. We put their life jackets on them and they jumped off the dock into the water over and over. The bay water in front of the house is quiet and calm and is perfect for kayaking. The property had plenty of parking. We had three cars parked and a fourth truck parked on property when guests came over. Kings Pt is a fairly quiet area, everyone on the point drives slow and carefully. You can walk, or run on the road and feel safe. You can boat to Polson very easily. We always have put our boat in at the private marina next to the city park, ( ask for Amber) and store our boat trailer with them for a small fee. There is also a public boat launch at the city park, but depending on how many cars you have in your party, parking a trailer can be tricky on Kings Pt. The road is narrow and windy. If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxed feel lake house, this is for you. Just go and set up a lawn chair and chill. Our family had a fabulous week playing games together, (Yes, I think there may have been some cheating!), fixing meals together, telling old stories to the newest brother and sister-in-laws and watching our youngest grandson (13 months) learn to walk. Thank you for sharing your vacation retreat with our family. We certainly hope to be able to return again next summer.
