Imagine looking out the many windows overlooking the lake and distant mountain while sitting in front of a huge wood burning stove. A direct lake front cottage on a private point. The screened in porch is only 50 feet from waters edge. The fire pit is perfectly angled to enjoy the westerly sunsets. Large grocery store, shopping and restaurants 9 mins away. This classic Lakefront cottage was built in 1925 and recently renovated. Professionally decorated with a warm, cozy vibe. Full, well stocked kitchen with an open living room and dining room area on the first floor that leads to a stunning enclosed porch area with 220 degree direct lakefront view. The cottage sits on a private point on a legacy property. The first floor includes a full and recently renovated bathroom and laundry area with a full sized washer/ dryer. Upstairs there are three newly carpeted bedrooms that offer two queen beds (with electric fireplaces) and a day bed with pull out twin trundle underneath. All beds and bedding are new. Please note there is only a small half bath on the second note there is only a small half bath on the second floor; the full bathroom is downstairs. The ceilings are low on the second floor and add to the sense of coziness in the bedrooms. Views are stunning in every direction. Shaw Pond looks like "On Golden Pond" but it is an active lake located in a light density community.
Expect light to moderate (and occasional) boat, jet ski, and road noise when outside. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy a legacy, direct lakefront property brand new to the market. The property easily accommodates up to 4 cars with close access to the cottage's front entrance.
This detached classic Massachusetts lake cottage offers access on all sides including direct lakefront to one of the Berkshires most treasured bodies of water, beautiful Shaw Pond. The property boasts its own private dock during the summer season and the pond is a popular ice skating and ice fishing destination in the winter. World class ski resorts are open and minutes away. A boat ramp is close by and available to our guests in the summer. The outside is professionally landscaped with beautifully lit hardscape walking areas and fire pit surrounded by new, super comfy Adirondack chairs. Also enjoy our newish kayaks and paddle boat off of your private dock. One or two dogs may be allowed with a pet fee on a case by case basis. Please notify me before you
make your reservation. The Lake house is located in the heart of ski resort heaven. We are 18 miles and 25 minutes from Butternut and Bousquet and only 9 mins to Otis Ridge. We are also located on a local favorite ice skating spot just outside your back door.
Please note that the lakefront is not fenced and children should be monitored for safety. The lake cottage is also an awesome summer family
retreat. Amazing wildlife and crystal clear water
perfect for fishing and swimming off of your own private dock. If you bring guests you might want to
also bring a bathrobe as the shower is downstairs.
