Summary: Checking in and texting the host was easy. The neighborhood was quiet. There is limited street parking but, we were able to get three cars in the driveway. The view in back was lovely. The beds were comfy. I was very disappointed in the state of things. The patio cushions outside had multiples holes in them and were dirty. The sliders had debri and spider webs in the groves. The oven was dirty. The lazy Susan that held the pots and pans was dirty. There was old ice cream, candy, and sausages in the freezer. There were shelves on the door of the refrigerator that were dirty. The sponge in the kitchen had a scrubbing side but, more than half of the scrubbing material was gone. Who knows how many uses that sponge had gone through? How hard would it be to supply a new sponge? There are pots and skillets but, there was only one 8 x 8 square baking dish. The dining room chairs were stained. At one point I took some toilet paper and rubbed above the mirror in the bathroom downstairs. It was very dusty. I’d like to know what the cleaning fee went to. There was air conditioning but, we couldn’t get it to turn on. There’s a deadbolt on the front door but, the hole in the doorframe is filled in so the deadbolt didn’t work. They do provide towels but ,they are very small and thin. Just was not impressed.
