The Property:
My lake front town home sits in front of 200 feet of sandy beach looking east across Lake George. It is on a large 2 acre, very private and flat property. The north side is bordered by the Hague Brook and a public park. The south side is bordered by the Hague Town Park and a small private cottage. This is one of only 4 townhomes on the property. There is a long dock with a boat lift for a 22’ or smaller conventional boat. No pontoon boats allowed on the boat lift. If you decide to bring a boat with you or to rent a boat from one of the two local marinas, you will be able to park the trailer on the property in the designated area. All arrangements for a boat must be made 15 days in advance with a picture of your boat. An extra security deposit will be required.
The Townhome:
Upstairs:
Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, 2nd floor deck.
The Master bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and full bathroom with separate changing room with an additional sink. There are sliding glass doors providing a beautiful view of the lake and entrance onto a 2nd floor deck – which is a perfect place for some wine and cheese after a day on the lake.
The second bedroom contains a bunk bed (2 twin beds), a separate twin bed. Right outside this bedroom is another full bathroom.
All bedroom linens are included.
Downstairs:
A half bathroom, full size kitchen, family room and 1st floor deck.
Kitchen has refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and all utensils, pots, pans, etc. (and wine glasses!). The kitchen table allows seating for 6.
Family Room has a 50” internet TV (no cable), stereo and WiFi which covers the downstairs, upstairs, the decks and a little beyond. Plenty of room to sit and relax around a wood burning stove. Sliding glass doors open up to a view of the lake and entrance to the first floor deck.
The 1st floor deck contains a patio table and chairs with a gas BBQ grill.
The property/lawn is level and has several shade trees to sit under.
Location:
It is adjacent to the Hague Town Beach and the boat launch (super convenient if you have a boat). The center of town is right off the west side of the property which has the Hague Market, a post office and several churches. It is only a 20-minute drive to Ticonderoga and Walmart, less than 30 minutes from Bolton Landing and about an hour from SARATOGA RACE TRACK. There is plenty of hiking nearby, fishing spots within eyeshot of the townhome and a nice golf course just 15 minutes north. I will be happy to share local knowledge with you.
