Welcome to Kinship Cabin, perfect for family getaways. Located in Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead. Our A-frame cabin is VERY quiet, off of a main road, and well-situated up high with beautiful lake views. 7 min from Lake Arrowhead Village, 8 min from SkyPark at Santa's Village and 20 min from Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park and Snow Valley Mountain Resort. The cabin also has a great driveway for snow play right in front. Relax, sip on some coffee (or wine) while soaking in the amazing views and fresh air.

THE SPACE:
This beautifully renovated 3 story A-Frame Cabin will provide something for everyone. We have freshly furnished this cabin with your comfort and luxury in mind with memory foam beds in every bedroom, plus a bonus loft with 2 single beds. Please note the cabin sleeps a maximum of 8 people of any age. All are welcome here!
Private driveway with plenty of room to park up to 3 cars only. We kindly ask that you do not block any of our neighbors parking areas. If there is snow on our driveway when you arrive, you can park temporarily next to the large water tower.
Cabin comes equipped with 2 Smart TV’s on 1st and 2nd floors. (Bring your streaming devices).
Fast, reliable Wi-Fi with a small office workspace.
Front door enters into the main level where you will find an open floor plan, large fireplace with a lounge area, dining room opening to a deck, full bathroom, and renovated kitchen. We provide a well appointed kitchen including both a standard coffeemaker and a Keurig machine.
Second level living space provides large A-frame windows with ample light in the living room, a large balcony, fireplace, and gorgeous views. This level has two bedrooms with Queen beds. One of the bedrooms has it’s own private balcony and the other has its own full bathroom connected.
The third level includes the Primary Suite with a Cal King bed, full bathroom ensuite and private balcony. Also on the third floor is a separate loft with two Twin XL beds and stunning views of Emerald bay, Lake Arrowhead and the surrounding forest.
In the winter months, the 2 fireplaces, forced air heating, cozy bedding, and extra plugin heaters will keep you comfortable and toasty. When the weather warms up, step out onto one of the many decks/balconies and enjoy the fresh air, bird watching, and lake views.
Spring makes for great hiking and viewing of waterfalls and wildflowers in the San Bernardino National Park.

Sorry, as much as we love our furry and feathered friends, no pets are allowed in an effort to preserve the condition of our cabin and respect allergens of our guests. Bringing pets into the cabin will FORFEIT your deposit and you will incur additional cleaning fees. There will also be additional fines at renter’s expense if pet hair and/or urine/feces is found on floors, rugs, furniture or beds.

OTHER DETAILS:
We do not provide firewood. It is advised to purchase firewood prior to your arrival. If needed, bundles are sold at the Cedar Glen Trading Post or Jensen’s grocery store just a few blocks away. In cold months, we recommend one to two bundles of firewood per day in the indoor fire places. Because of the local fire ban, we DO NOT have outdoor fire pits available. All outdoor fires are prohibited. Please DO NOT bring a portable fire pit.
Every year is different but snow season is generally from November to April in Lake Arrowhead.
During snowy conditions we REQUIRE 4 wheel or all-wheel drive. Our neighborhood, like all mountain neighborhoods, can get very icy/slippery when it snows and 2 wheel drive vehicles, even with chains, WILL NOT MAKE IT to our cabin!
During severe winter storms, there can be downed tree limbs, road closures, and power outages. Be aware that it can be difficult for workers to restore power, clear roads, or reach the cabin for repairs. If you choose to book a stay during the snowy months, get your adventurous spirit ready. We provide rechargeable flashlights for our guests in the event of a power outage. Start a fire in the fireplace and stay cozy while you wait for the power to turn back on.
Please monitor weather conditions closely when planning a visit to our cabin during the winter, and make sure you are equipped to both reach and leave the cabin safely within the established check-in and check-out times. We will try to help you in any way we can from our remote position, but know that ultimately your hosts are not liable for the whims of Mother Nature.

Our private driveway is NOT plowed by the county. You may need to shovel the driveway during heavy snowfall. 2 snow shovels will be provided.
Our cabin is three floors and the stairs are a little steep. There are portions of the staircase that can be dangerous for very small children or elderly guests. We provide one baby gate that can be placed at the top or the bottom of the stairs.
Lastly, please note, like most vacation rentals in the Lake Arrowhead area, we DO NOT have Lake Rights to Lake Arrowhead.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
Cedar Glen is a quaint community of Lake Arrowhead where you’ll find a convenient strip mall that is within walking distance from our cabin. Included is Jensens grocery store, Cedar Glen Trading Post (hardware store), Cedar Glen Laundry Company (coin laundromat and dry cleaners), Bullworx Fitness gym, U.S. Post Office, The Cedar Glen Inn Restaurant, RB’s Steakhouse Restaurant/Bar, two hair salons, a few sweet gift shops and two antique stores. And just a quick one block walk from the cabin is the Cedar Glen Malt Shop diner.
Summer is wonderful in Lake Arrowhead - the free summer concert series in the village, water sports, and hiking in the mountains -- there's something for everyone! **Due to the extreme fire danger in the mountains, please DO NOT bring a BBQ to the cabin, it is not permitted.
Fall is a great time to visit the mountains - colorful leaves and Octoberfest in the Lake Arrowhead Village.
Lake Arrowhead is an ideal location for winter fun. Tubing and Skiing at Snow Valley are only 20 minutes away! As a bonus, the cabin driveway provides a fun sledding run right by the front door (snow play at your own risk)!
