Tulum is a small town with boutique areas. For true walkable beach access, choose the Hotel Zone. From other areas, it’s a quick, seamless transfer—car, scooter, taxi, or bike—and we’re happy to help arrange it. See our map for real-world timing at a glance. Allow extra time to get to beach in high season as there can be traffic. Aldea Zama is also the other very walkable destination in Tulum with many options for shopping and dining.

Beach Access - We have deals directly with beach clubs for exclusive access once booked with us you will need to make a reservation with the host or via our app 1 day in advance. Since these beach clubs have hotels and restaurants bringing food and beverages in is not permitted. Tulum has announced several hotels with free beach access but be aware they may not provide a chair or be overbooked without a reservation.
