Originally built in the late 1940s and thoughtfully renovated in 1987, this property channels the essence of the 19th-century boarding houses once popular along the lakeshore. With its Italianate Victorian-inspired architecture, the house features graceful balconies, gingerbread gables, and spacious decks, showcasing the craftsmanship of a bygone era.

All reservations must complete the required guest occupancy agreement in full. This includes the reservation holder providing ID Verification, names and ages of all guests, a contact phone number for each unit, as well as the make, model, and license plate number of each vehicle. This information is essential to avoid towing and fines. Check-in instructions will be delayed until the agreement requirements are detailed.
While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

A total of 8 vehicles may park at Union Pier Summer House in our dedicated lot on the corner of Berrien and Howard Streets. Please note that all vehicles must be registered after booking. Cars not registered will be subject to towing and fines.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
