This gem has a full view—without the view blocking big wall—conveniently located on the 4th floor near the elevator to reduce walking. The design features maple cabinets, granite counters, beautiful Italian floor tiles, Polynesian furniture, ambiance lighting, island-style woodwork, a comforting fully tiled shower, tropical bedroom furniture and built-in casework, reflecting the historical Hawaiian style. The island artwork is authentic and the unit has more than sufficient necessities. Why pay 2-3 times—or way more—for a hotel in the luxury resort areas when Sugar Beach Resort and the Live Aloha Suite have all the amenities you likely want! Enjoy the sprit of aloha in this condo, as do so many repeat guests.
It is rare to live on a Maui beach. Not many condominium buildings afford that luxury nor will there be allowed any others. You’ll appreciate that when you cast open the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and take in tropical Maui. The soothing ocean waves and marvelous sunrises and sunsets remind you that you indeed are in a very special place. Your Hawaiian experience is enhanced by the tropical décor offset by the palm trees’ gentle sway from the trade winds. This is a prime location condominium unit. It’s closer to the ocean than most at the resort. It does not have the extended lanai wall, as do so many SBR condos. No extended wall means the unobstructed view is beautiful. The classically beautiful floor tile extends from the living area through the lanai for the feeling of an expanded living area. You are truly on the beach on Maui with all of the sights and smells you would expect. Sit on your 4th floor private lanai and watch the Hawaiian lifestyle unfold before you. Enjoy the outrigger club races, snorkeling, beach walks, swimming, kite boarders, stand up paddlers, eFoils, sea turtles and during the season breaching whales. Or, sit in the air-conditioned living room to enjoy the same scene! This unit is truly “front and center”, yet amazingly private. One feels as if in a beach house without neighbors, owing in part to the hypnotic waves, tranquil setting and beautiful interiors. An added bonus is that this gem is close to the elevators, stairwell and sanitary debris drop, so there are no long walks down the corridor.
Kihei is known for enjoying Maui’s better weather. Sugar Beach Resort (SBR) is located north of Kihei Town for that “get away from it all” feeling. Yet it is close enough to Kihei and Wailea to sample their fares—entertainment, restaurants, and their fine beaches. All beaches in Hawaii belong to everyone and access is required. A scenic drive to West Maui is only a twenty-minute drive away. Neighboring Kealia Pond is a national refuge, which exhibits native flora and fauna. SBR is situated in a unique and rare setting.
