Positive: - The location of the flat is excellent in a quiet neighborhood at the edge of the city centre with restaurants and cafes and shops 5 minutes walk and the cathedral is around 10 minutes walk. - The building is an old building beautifully renovated. Very secure and has a lift. - The flat is actually a main studio with an open/ semi closed bed room area separated from living area by a wall with fire place but no door. There is a good kitchenette and a good bathroom. It has a high ceiling. This main studio is linked to a small bedroom through a small corridor on the other side of a skylight area through the building. This corridor closed by glass so technically someone outside the flat can see through. The design is creative and maximises the use of the space but not necessarily gives enough privacy nor enough intimacy unless it is only a couple using the main studio. Having said all this the conversion is done to a high standard and taste. - Communication was effective and check in and out was straightforward.
Negative: - The AC was not effective at all in the main studio. The temperature was up to 36 Celsius in 2-3 days of our stay, the ceiling is high, the sun faces the side of the flat most of the day but still the AC should be much better. We were in flat 2A (top floor) and not sure if other flats in the building had a similar problem. In winter and early spring this might not be an issue. - There were small ants in the kitchenette and the small room (prevented my daughter from sleeping there so I had). The flat management instructed us to use a spray they kept in the kitchenette. This was somewhat effective. - Accommodation in Sevilla is expensive but I was hoping for luxury as advertised with no issues or buts. - Near by car park (Interparking Canoy Cueto) costs around €30 per day. It is 5-6 minutes away from the flat. It is busy and you can’t book in advance but convenient and not too tight. I would not advice driving to the flat first to drop off the luggage as I did unless you are driving a fairly small car as some streets around the flat are very narrow and you seriously risk scratching your rental car particularly (Calle Cespedes) which will lead you from the flat towards the car park. This was a proper test 😅.
