Summary:
Looking to unplug and recharge? You'll love this jungle retreat. Wake up to birds singing and watch amazing sunsets from your second-floor balcony. There are great beaches and villages nearby. This is a gated property so you can feel secure as you rest. A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to make your own meals. Or you can go into town for local cuisine, entertainment and street markets.
The Space:
This 2nd floor condo is 1 bedroom and 1 1/2 bathrooms with a King size bed and a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are laundry facilities located on each floor of the building. The living area has couches, television with Netflix, air conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. The private balcony off the living room is perfect for enjoying whale watching, magical sunsets and your morning coffee. Lounge around our pool, hike the property, down to the beach or play pickle ball in our court. Adults only. Children permitted between May and September.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the pool, gym, putting green/mini-golf, pickleball court, game room and other amenities in the development. There is an elevator in the building and shared laundry facilities on each floor.
The Neighborhood:
Beach dining is close by at Chacala beach (15-20 minute drive) if you care to have a nice fresh catch of Dorado (Mahi mahi) or Huachinango (Red Snapper) or giant shrimp for lunch or dinner. For shopping, dining and open market as well as doctor or dentist, La Penita is a short drive (15 to 20 minutes).
Getting Around:
Currently, it is best to rent a car when flying in to the Puerto Vallarta airport. Long term stays have access to rental cars on site. We are located about 50 miles north of Puerto Vallarta between La Penita and Chacala near the pueblito of El DIvisadero. We are located about 7 kilometers off the highway, of which, about 2 kilometers is a dirt/gravel road. The closest shopping, doctors, etc is about a 20 minute drive. Vista Encantada is a little out of the way and perfect for a relaxing, beautiful vacation.
Other Things to Note:
Las Cuevitas beach is just 2 miles down the street from us and Chacala beach is to the north of us. We have a great view of Chacala Bay.
