Positive: The design and feel of the place has a storybook quality to it, unlike anywhere we’ve stayed. Pretty much every room is special in its own way, and the grounds are as well. The hosts are kind and helpful; we were fortunate to have one in our party who speaks some Italian. And when we had an issue with the heat, the owner came right out to fix it.
Negative: No fault of the hosts but roads leading to the property can be challenging—narrow, and some drivers flying around turns.
Summary: A spacious magical retreat in the beautiful countryside.
