Relax on the large front porch while you enjoy feeling the southern breezes and saying hello to neighbors walking by.
We are located just 2 miles from the entrance to Parris Island. This home is perfect for those coming to see their new Marine graduate, as well as those coming to explore Port Royal, historic Beaufort, and the gorgeous surrounding areas. The Sands Beach area, a local favorite destination is only a half mile from the house. It includes a small local beach on the Port Royal Sound, perfect for sunbathing and looking for shark's teeth. There is also a public boat launch, boardwalk and observation tower that overlooks Port Royal Sound and Parris Island. One block from the home is the Cypress Wetlands nature sanctuary with its walking trails and boardwalk. Port Royal offers several unique shops, restaurants, and a wonderful gourmet coffee shop, all within walking distance from the house. We are a 3 minute drive to Parris Island, 4 minutes to walking and biking on the Spanish Moss Trail. Downtown Beaufort with its waterfront park, shops, and varied dining options is just an 8 minute drive away. We are a 25 minute drive to the beach and lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park and a 40 minute drive to Hilton Head. Charleston which is 60 miles away and Savannah which is just 40 miles away, are both easy day trips.

LIVING AREA:There is plenty of seating available to accommodate 9 people for eating, watching a movie, playing your favorite board game or just socializing.
DINING AREA: Enjoy a family meal with our large glass dining room table that seats 6-8 people. This area is spacious and open to kitchen and living room accessibility.
KITCHEN: We supply a fully equipped kitchen which includes crock pot, auto drip coffee pot with coffee provided, blender, toaster, fry pans and sauce pans and a 9x13 baking pan. There is also a large stock pot for cooking up Frogmore stew or your favorite soup. There are plenty of dishes, cups and flatware. There is a microwave and dishwasher. We also have measuring cups and spoons, cutting knives and a pizza pan.
LAUNDRY ROOM: Washer and dryer are available if needed as well as laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. This is also where you will find a first aid kit and some games to play when you are kicking back and relaxing.
BEDROOM 1: Comfortable Queen bed with a private bath.TV and a very large walk-in closet. Located on first floor. You will also find an iron and ironing board in the closet as well as hangers to hang your clothes. Place your luggage on the fold out luggage rack.
BEDROOM 2: Queen size bed as well as a Twin XL bed to fit every shape and size. Located on the 2nd floor. Has an adjoining bathroom with a tub/shower. Closet with hangers and a fold out luggage rack.
BEDROOM 3: Two full beds with bedside table in the middle. Located on 2nd floor. Has adjoining bathroom with tub/shower. Closet with hangers and a fold out luggage rack. All 3 bedroom beds have bedbug proof mattress protector encasements. Beds have fresh linens, blankets and bedspreads. You will find extra linens, blankets and pillows in the individual bedroom closets.
BATHROOMS: Both full bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) have a tub/shower combination. We supply shampoo, soap and body wash as well as a blow dryer in each bathroom. There are towels and washcloths provided. If you plan on visiting the beach you will find a beach bag in the laundry room with blue towels to be used at the beach. If there is anything else you need there is a Dollar General just right around the corner.
PORCHES: Relax on our spacious, inviting porches found on both the front and back of the house. There is nothing like sitting on a rocking chair and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning while breathing in the fresh lowcountry air. There is a very large screened in back porch with a table and chairs available to seat 6 or 8 for a family/friends dinner or board game.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If something happens and you need to postpone your dates, we can move you to a later date as long as the house is still available . If you cancel completely you will receive a full refund of accommodation fees if cancellation is made five full days prior to your 4:00 check in time on the day you were scheduled to check in. If you need to cancel less than 5 days in advance, the first night is non-refundable but 50% of the accommodation fees for the remaining nights will be refunded. If you arrive and decide to leave early, 50% of the accommodation fees for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded. You might be charged service fees from the site.
