Summary: Great stay at the Hyatt House. While this property is not the newest, they have taken care of it, updated it, and keep it maintained. The location of the property was great. Many things to eat and do around the neighborhood. Very safe and easy to get on the freeway system to move around. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable for a room with actual segregated bedrooms. The breakfast was great, always fresh, and the common eating area was very clean. The pool and outside areas were kept up. They were not perfect, but up to expectations for a property that was not new. I am happy to report they have cleaned the exterior of all the buildings so that they don't have mildew, like what was reported previously. The buildings look very nice now from the outside. The only drawbacks were the parking fees and our couch smelled like a dog had slept there previously. Please take into account the parking fees when pricing this property out, and don't be surprised at the desk. They were bad, but with the improvements made to the property, we thought the value of the total price didn't go down the drain. Pets are allowed to stay here, which for us produced a stinky couch. But it wasn't enough that we requested another room. We notified the management and then cleaned it so it smelled better. However, we made sure to toss a sheet over the couch when we sat on it. Just keep that in mind if you book.
