Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The decor, cleanliness, outside sitting area, large rooms, lovely new bathrooms with lovely thick towels, local shop next door with home baking papers and anything you need, pub across the road which serves ovely meals, and one at the other end of the village too, beautiful village and lots of villages nearby. Only 5 minutes to A1, 10 to Holy Island, 15 minutes to Berwick and Lidl and MandS food, less than half an hour to Bamburgh and Alynwick. LOADS of beaches nearby.

Negative: Everything was fantastic, but if I was picky, I prefer a harder mattress and bigger pillows. However, it did not detract from a fabulous holiday here, and I would still come back in a heartbeat.

Summary: It was fabulous. Loved the cottage and location, so much to see. Will definitely go back.
