Positive: The hotel is much nicer in person than in the photos; it’s wonderfully peaceful and has a divine view. But the best part was the staff—everyone was kind, smiling, and happy to help with anything. A driver picked us up at the Forio port in a luxury car, drove us to the hotel, and carried our luggage all the way to our room. The room was spacious, clean, fragrant, and equipped with everything from a fridge to a bathrobe to toiletries. We had no trouble communicating in English at the front desk and in the restaurant; right after arriving, we headed to the spa, and a helpful waiter brought us cocktails right to the thermal pool. Breakfast was great—a good selection of fruit, salami, cheese, sweet and savory pastries, and fresh eggs. Dinner at the restaurant was also pleasant; I must especially highlight the desserts. Although the hotel is located on a hill, thanks to the hotel shuttle, it wasn’t a problem even for the older members of our group or someone with a heart condition. The driver took us to the Poseidon thermal baths in the morning, and then all we had to do was call the hotel to arrange a ride back. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation with perfect service. If we return to Ischia, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
