ALOHADAYS is a renovated over 100 years old 'Machiya' located in the Nishijin area, a historical town in Kyoto,
It is a small hostel which has only 2 rooms run by a Hawaii-loving couple.
First-time visitors to Kyoto, as well as those who have visited Kyoto many times, will enjoy their stay at the inn's neighbourhood, where they can experience the deep spots and daily life of the locals.
The hostel has a Hawaiian café on the first floor, and the interior of the hostel is decorated with a Hawaiian feel.
Nearby sightseeing spots are Kamishichiken and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. They are a 10-minute walk away. Nijo Castle and the Kyoto Imperial Palace are 15 minutes away by bus, Kinkakuji Temple and Kyoto Station are 20 minutes away by bus, Kawaramachi and Gion are 30 minutes away by bus, and Arashiyama is 30 minutes away by bus and train.
Bus stops, convenience stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants are within a 1-minute walk.
If you come by car, coin parking is available nearby and is cheaper than in the city center, so it is recommended for car travelers too.
We have only two rooms, so if you book both rooms, you can enjoy them to the fullest by renting them out, which is recommended for a group trip with friends or a family trip.
The Hawaiian café on the first floor offers dishes with local flavors.
The menu includes açaí bowls (available for vegans), pancakes, garlic shrimp, ahi poke, mochiko chicken, Hawaiian Kona coffee, Hawaiian beer, original mocktails, and more.
***Accommodation Tax***
Kyoto City will be levying accommodation taxes on people who stay in Kyoto as of October 1st, 2018. The tax rate is set at 200 yen per night per guest who pays a room charge of less than 20,000 yen per night. The accommodation tax is not included in your confirmed rate, and will be charged additionally when you arrive for check-in.

***Cancellation Policy***
- Please let us know in advance if you are cancelling your reservation.
Reservations cancelled or modified less than two days before the date of arrival will incur the following charges:
- 3 days in advance: No cancellation fee
- 2 days in advance: 50% of room rate for all nights
- The day of the arrival / No show: 100% of room rate for all nights
Cancellation fees will be charged to your credit card used to make the booking.
Cancellations are accepted from 9:00am to 10:00pm everyday.
Any cancellation requests made after office hours would be deemed as on the next day.
