Summary: Spent Xmas & New Year here. The apartment is well appointed with a lovely view of Mt Teide & Los Gigantes. The apartment is close to a number of excellent restaurants, supermarkets & bus transport. Everything was very clean and, in the main, had everything we needed. There appears to have been an extension built on the apartment next door that has blocked the afternoon sun so a lazy day on the balcony is cut short. The plaza outside is a great place for kids, but since we are all retired, we found it disturbing, especially when they were throwing firecrackers! Still, at this time of year there was also concerts & other entertainment. The closest beach has no facilities, that we saw, and a steep path for access, but a short bus ride takes you to Playa La Arena, a super little beach with good facilities, restaurants nearby, and a lifeguard on duty. Puerto Santiago is a great little town, but is quite steep so anyone with walking difficulties may find it restrictive. All in all, we had a super holiday and recommend it. Catrina, our contact, was very helpful.
