Formerly a waterfront restaurant w/8 motel rooms that sleeps up to 22! The dining area is used as a common space for your friends & family to share laughs &make memories. Beautifully decorated w/ample sitting &dining space & a fully stocked kitchen ready for you &your guests to enjoy! The grassy area &tiki bar are great to host amazing BBQ's/picnics. Roast marshmallows in the fire, watch the freighters go by, or cozy up on the large comfy couch w/your loved ones

A car is needed to travel to shops, restaurants, etc
- Dogs are allowed. Please get permission first before you rent. The dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outisde, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additonal fee to bring your dog(s).

HOUSE RULES: (some rules may differ for events)
- No more than 10 cars on site
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors 'way!
- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM

Summary: The Good:The main living area and commercial kitchen were fantastic. It was a great space to hang out. Lots of seating. Would be great for large events/parties. We enjoyed having the pickleball court and cornhole boards. View of Lake Huron was great.The Not So Good: This used to be a motel/restaurant a few years ago and the sign is still up outside. Over the course of the weekend, we had 8 people show up and wander in thinking it was still open. Eventually we just kept the front door locked and put a "closed" sign on the door so who knows how many more people stopped by. This could easily be remedied by taking the sign down. There are many signs up inside from when it was a restaurant as well- I'm not sure if that is part of the aesthetic they were going for or if they were just not bothered to take them down.The rooms were dated and not in great shape. I'm not sure that they were updated since it was a motel. Rooms had a musty odor and needed to be aired out when we arrived. The beds were uncomfortable. A couple of the rooms locking mechanisms weren't working.The rooms all open to the outside (not a big deal, just FYI in case you have children).There isn't really a beach per say, it's quite marshy/mucky so the water wasn't usable at all. I'm not sure if it normally is or if it's just because it's been so dry this year.
