A classic New Orleans "double" house features impressive 11 ft. high ceilings detailed with wide crown molding throughout & ceiling fans in every room. This light-filled 2,300 square foot, 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths house includes spacious & open living / dining rooms opening onto fully-furnished kitchen with stainless Bosch appliances (gas stove, dishwasher, full size fridge, washer & dryer). Complete with private, fenced-in yard with a great deck just outside the kitchen door.
Jazz Fest and other fantastic music celebrations take place blocks from here! Located in Mid City New Orleans, easy 7-minutes from the French Quarter and downtown, 15-20 mins. to the airport. Walk-able, friendly, tree-lined neighborhood.
We completely renovated this historic Arts & Crafts double in 2011. It is two houses in one, in the classic New Orleans style, and my husband & I and Lulu (our hound mix) live in the upstairs half of the double.
