Our hip yet Norman Rockwell-like resort community was the inspiration that led us to creating this vacation home, geared to those looking to make memories! This is the perfect property for one, two or even three families!
Enjoy the beauty of a historic neighborhood without any of the old house troubles! This recently built 3400 square foot architecturally designed craftsman home is situated on a corner lot and perched on a hill with a commanding presence and peek-a-boo views of the resort and firework shows. It promises all of the luxurious amenities you will need for a fabulous vacation filled with countless recreational and entertainment options to share with friends or family.
Getting ready to take a trip down the aisle, or a golf trip to experience the world's only floating green? How about other events like Iron man, 4th of July fireworks show, Art on the Green, Car d'Lane, even holidays and snow skiing at the beautiful, world class Schweitzer Mountain Resort in the winter? Want to just simply relax & reconnect with family & friends? You'll find we've got great common space for lounging around but plenty of private space for those times you need it. Our home has three full floors with beautifully furnished and professionally designed spaces on each level!
Top floor: Huge master suite (king) with sitting/TV area, walk-in closet, and a five piece bathroom. Full bath and additional bedroom (queen).
Main floor: Modern open floor plan with kitchen, breakfast nook, Keurig coffee station, laundry room, powder room, large formal dining (seats 10), formal living and TV area with comfy seating and fireplace.
Lower floor: Acts as a fun den space with TV area perfect for late night movies, poker table, dvds, board games, and puzzles. Full bath, bedroom (queen), bunk bedroom (4 queen), and two nifty ottomans in the living area that convert to (twin) beds. This floor also features a storage room and exterior door to access street level.
Total bed count: 1 king, 6 queens, 2 twins – sleeps 16.
Throughout the home enjoy central heat and air conditioning, YouTubeTV cable service, high speed internet (WiFi), new furniture and mattresses, and new hotel quality linens and bedding.
Outside spaces: Lounge around on the large covered front porch, 2 adirondacks chairs and cafe table/seating for 2. Very private backyard setting with picture frame fencing, serene water feature and pond, gas Weber grill and outdoor dining (6 + folding tables/chairs for an additional 10).
Downtown parking comes at a premium, but not here. Simply park alongside the home which is located on a corner lot (space for 5-7 cars). Very few vacation rentals have this size and prime location -- it can't be beat for convenience to absolutely everything from the city beaches and parks to CDA Resort golf course, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Boat launch and mooring is less then a mile away... if you want to leave your boat trailer or recreational vehicle parked at the house, that's fine too. If you need a secure place for bikes and other gear, we have a storage room. This home has it all.
