This location is excellent as it is halfway between Arcata and Eureka, and very easy to get onto U.S. 101. It is about 44 miles south of Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park which offers over 100 miles of trails, including the popular Fern Canyon and Trillium Falls Trails. And be sure to head west to explore the gorgeous Northern Californian Coast, where you can walk the sands or beachcomb for agates and shells.
