Relax like never before in our well-equipped and well-maintained marsh front cottage. Let the golf cart whisk you to the beachfront in 60 seconds, or cruise you around the resort to take in the scenery and wildlife.
2 Links Clubhouse Villas is an adorable cottage in the private gated beach front resort community of Wild Dunes. The villa overlooks a beautiful tidal marsh and is only a short five minute stroll (2 blocks) to the best beach area in the resort. For golfers, we are steps from The Links championship course, driving range and the putting/chipping green. #2 Links Clubhouse features an open airy floor plan with under house parking. The community is encircled by bicycle and walking paths, making it a perfect location for families to enjoy a relaxed but active vacation.
The house is located on a quiet cul de sac of 8 duplex homes, and looks directly on a small private park equipped with lounge chairs and tables under the palms. The front entry boasts a large covered porch, just perfect for rocking away the afternoon.
The floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances flowing into an open living and dining room. In addition to a full sized table, the kitchen counter offers seating for three. Comfy swivel rockers and a Pottery Barn couch create a comfortable place for conversation, games, watching the cable/Internet accessible TV, or reading. A sunroom with floor to ceiling windows looks out over the marsh and provides a comfortable place to curl up with a good book. The marsh is full of deer and shore birds that appear throughout the day, giving you a ringside seat to all the wildlife teeming in the tidal wetlands.
The master bedroom has a king bed, full bath, and desk for guests needing workspace. The guest bedroom boasts two queen beds, a full bath with tub and shower combo, and ample closet space. Both bedrooms have TVs and ceiling fans.
The third bedroom is an open loft area offering great sleeping space for two and its own half bathroom. It features two extra long twins, or, they can be made up together to create a king size bed. The loft's half bathroom also has a small closet area. A spiral staircase leads to the 2nd floor loft.
The Links Clubhouse Cottage is elevated to take advantage of the marsh view and breeze and offers underneath parking for up to three cars. It also offers ample storage space and a gas grill. We offer beach chairs, kickboards, kids beach toys and an outdoor shower. It is less than a 5 minute walk or one minute golf cart ride to the beachfront.
An electric golf cart is included and makes carrying chairs and coolers to the beach an easy 60 second trip. It also comes in handy for taking kids on nature tours to see the resident alligators, herons and deer.
All sheets and towels included. We also have a full size washer and dryer.
To enhance your comfort, there are ceiling fans in bedrooms, living room, sun room and front porch.
To ensure fun is had by all, we provide plastic beach toys, beach chairs and towels.
There is also a gas grill for those wanting to barbecue.
This end of the island is very quiet. With the large garage there is plenty of room to store bicycles you might bring, luggage carriers, golf clubs, surfboards/paddleboards and more.
This unit is very well maintained by the local owner who is also a real estate agent and property manager. In mid 2023 the kitchen was outfitted with new Calcutta quartz countertops, new marble subway backsplash, completely new paint inside and throughout the garage, and new HVAC system and a new water heater. Since covid the stucco exterior has been painted, porches repaired and painted, the parking lot was newly surfaced and guttered, new roofs were added and more. You will enjoy these well kept accommodations.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Wild Dunes is beautiful. Main /hall bath needs some updates. Tub can only be filled via the shower. Had to clean mold off the shower head. BEACH & POOL -You can no longer access the beach from across the street near driving range, they have locked the gate, an employee said they don’t want people accessing via gate. -A short way down the road is public access, but the club house area is under construction, so only access to restroom for now are 2 Johnny on the Spots. POOL. -nice pool , but NO restrooms. I guess they figure you can go back your surrounding condo. Since the owner of the property has a condo there you can use pool , but need to go all the back to rental duplex for a restroom. If your renting for a beach vacation these are a few items that could be troublesome, If you’re renting for golf should be good. Owners are very responsive, iron was not working and we had a new one in 30 minutes. We had a great time & if you haven’t been to Isle of Palms & Wild Dunes it is beautiful. A few items I think should be updated on description.
