This unique greenhouse yurt combo sits atop a mountain in Gold Hill, an old gold mining town at 8,300 ft. ten miles west of Boulder.
The yurt is BRAND NEW! It was completely reconstructed this past year and is upgraded to a California king bed!
Enjoy this 3 acre property with a 2,800 passive solar greenhouse and yurt! The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry are in the greenhouse. The greenhouse is a short walk from the yurt that is perched on top of the mountain. The yurt is fenced in with about a half an acre.
***The greenhouse is in production for growing food for the surrounding community! This means that me as well as others will need access to the greenhouse to check on plants, harvest, climate control, etc. This will only be done during the day. Open greenhouse hours are noon-3pm!*** I will let you know if anyone will need to come by during your stay!
Please do NOT pick from the gardens. I will leave produce for you to enjoy in the refrigerator :)
Well behaved pets are welcome!
Open space surrounds the property with easy access to hiking trails and the quaint downtown of Gold Hill. There is a trail from the yurt that leads directly to town.
Please no fires during your stay.
Please keep all trash inside of the greenhouse to prevent frequent bear and mice visits!
