The Space:
Our two-bedroom, two-story apartment offers everything you and your guests need to enjoy your time in Louisville! The upstairs master bedroom is a spacious loft-style and does not have a door; it does have a large, private ensuite bath with a walk-in closet, walk-in glass shower, and a large garden style tub. Additionally, there’s a washer and dryer in the master closet. The kitchen has granite countertops and is stocked with cookware to cook simple meals, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. There are two modern bathrooms with rainfall showerhead and colorful tile flooring. Get a breath of fresh air on the balcony. There's a smart TV with Roku and Netflix (there is no cable) & free WiFi! Reserved parking for one vehicle is also available at no additional charge. The bedrooms are located upstairs, and there are approximately twelve stairs to climb.
* You may use the balcony located on the rooftop; however, the rooftop itself is strictly off-limits.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. We use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside the suite, a people counter which counts the number of people nearby, in addition to numerous neighbors who are understandably more sensitive during this time. The guest amount on your reservation must match the number of guests that will be inside the suite at any given time. We do utilize our local law enforcement if you cannot abide by these rules and you will be asked to vacate at your own expense.
Guest Access:
You can access the building anytime after 4pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion.
The Neighborhood:
"New Louisville", or NuLu, is best known for its art galleries, specialty stores, antique shops, and dining hub. Several dining options such as: Toast on Market, Wiltshire on Market, and Royals Hot Chicken are located only a block away. The First Friday Hop occurs on the first Friday of the month. Hop on a ZeroBus for an all-in-one art show, shopping adventure, and street party. Check out all the unique stores down East Market Street.
Getting Around:
There are plenty of options to get around Louisville. Whether you prefer a rideshare program such as Uber or Lyft, or Louisville's all-electric bus, LouLift, you'll get to where you need to be within minutes. The LouLift covers Main & Market streets, and downtown to Churchill Downs. All rides are fare-complimentary.
