This bright and charming home is beautifully set on over an acre of meadow like property, yet only a 10 min. walk down picturesque South Water St. to the shops and restaurants in Edgartown. Located on a quiet lane, it is a 10 minute drive and 15 minute bike ride to beautiful South Beach and a bike ride to the iconic Morning Glory Farm. This home is ideally located - a little slice of Chilmark, set in Edgartown.
The private, bucolic setting is surpassed only by the charming beachy ambiance of the home itself. It has a large bright living room with fireplace and TV, a kitchen with a Sub-Zero Refrigerator, wine cooler and granite island, a sunny breakfast room with bay window, and a cozy sunroom with cathedral ceilings, TV and french doors that open onto the spacious deck. On the lower level there is a large finished basement, complete with TV, a work station and an alcove with a ping pong table (or the inflatable queen mattress for 2 additional guests).
It has a first floor, primary king bedroom with cathedral ceiling, built-in desk, oversized walk-in closet, private bath and TV. On the second floor it has 2 additional bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and a twin bed and the other with a full size bed and a twin bed, with a full bathroom on the second floor as well. An additional bedroom is on the lower level with a queen sized bed. There is a third full bathroom on the main floor, as well as a spacious outdoor shower, with changing room.
Through the French doors of the sunroom is the spacious, sunny deck providing room and furnishings for grilling on the Weber grill and dining, or simply relaxing on the beautiful cushioned teak furniture. You can enjoy all of this, while looking out over the beautiful spacious, open property perfect for lawn games and experiencing perfect privacy.
