Summary: This is one of the nicest vacation rentals we've ever enjoyed. The cottage looks like it's been there for generations, but is actually much newer and nicely laid out with all the conforts. It's an actual home, so it is in fact "homey." The location is quite rural, but just a 15 minute drive north to Langley or to the ferry at Clinton. A brewpub and store/cafe are just a mile away. I enjoyed bicycle trips on the scenic roads in the area as well. Finally, it is so quiet. As we were ejoying a twilight dinner on the patio the loudest sound was the bees buzzing in he lavender. And at night with the windows open, we only hear the distant yipping of a coyote. Beautiful vegetable and berry patch and a Mediterranean garden around the house looking off to a wet meadow and trees all around. We'll be back!
