Other small details about the property include a 5 minute ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway, a long yard, a few fire pits and pull up bar, large entertaining deck with grill, a 65' 4k TV, indoor fireplace, many board games, and a brisk 15 minuet ride to food and shopping. The house also has brand new solar panels on the roof to ensure backup power needs for any weather situation!
There is also now a new 11 foot wide solar light/adjustable deck umbrella to sit under to relax whether rain or shine! And the latest addition is an AXE throwing station in the back yard! Instead of driving 45 minuets to the nearest axe throwing establishment and paying $24 per person per hour, you can just let some steam off in the back yard!
But most importantly, the property is also fully equipped with peace and tranquility!
It's a paved driveway all the way to the house which is 0.5 miles from the highway. The house is inside a gated community and in a quiet respected area.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is just 5 minuets from the house by taking a left when you hit the highway and then you can access one of the best sunset areas on a great day if you take a left, or if you take a right on the parkway, you can get to a mild hike and one of the best overlooks in this part of the country!
Within an hour or less drive, you can access multiple national forests, multiple water rafting adventures, zip lines, fishing, casinos, and hikes and waterfalls. Just over an hour you can reach many great drives such as The Tail of the Dragon or Dollywood or other attractions that reside in this region of the country which includes the tallest point on the east coast at Mt. Mitchell.
Many travel nurses recommend a place like this since it has peace and space and relaxation at your finger tips.
There are several hospitals and nursing homes immediately around or even many more options with short drives to other local hospitals for extra work if you wanted. The closest 3 facilities are just 15 minuets down the road and a few more just 20-25 minuets away. Plenty of options for those wanting a taste of the mountain life!
