Travel Purpose: business

Negative: Poor standard of cleanliness, particularly important during a pandemic. Rubbish bins in each bedroom still had rubbish in from previous occupants. Toilet was not clean, shower not clean (soap/shower gel residue on tray and shower glass) stains on kitchen counter top which we cleaned up, stained pillows, no bin bag in large bin in kitchen, top of fridge freezer covered in dust as were window ledges, strange smell from twin bedded room which didn't go even when room aired. This was such a shame.... A lovely little lodge, nicely furnished and easy to keep clean completely let down by poor cleaning. We cleaned everything down when we went inin, emptied the rubbish and the Hoover! This is too important to ignore when precautions should be taken to help prevent the spread of Covid.

Summary: Good accommodation at a good price let down by poor housekeeping.
