Summary: Pros: Last minute availability in OC on Labor Day weekend. Reasonable price. Loved the split bedroom /bathroom suites! One for my husband and me and one for the two teens. TV and kitchenette in each were perfect for our needs. Owner is quick to respond to requests/questions. Clean and uncluttered. We found lots of metered parking right outside building. Cons: Building is old and needs an update/paint. Front porch light was out and we tripped over the cinder block partition to the unit in the dark. Hand soap was out in the 2nd bathroom. No filters for coffee maker (we brought our own thank goodness!) Parking is metered and limited to 3 hours 9AM-9PM. No beach tags included w/ stay. A little more than walking distance to beach if carrying lots of stuff. Owner responded via VRBO messages only. Overall an OK stay for a last minute mini-vacation. We've stayed in many VRBOs in OCNJ that were more luxurious, had more amenities and more "beachy" feel, so probably won't be back. But Mark was a gracious host and the unit was good enough for our needs.
