The Space:
Built by a Montana pioneer during the Last Chance Gulch gold rush in 1866, this two bedroom one bathroom home has been thoughtfully and lovingly updated to maintain some of its quirks, charm, and original features. You can't get closer than this to all that Helena offers.
The South Hills Trail System, just a few minutes walk from the front door, boasts beautiful mountain views and views overlooking the city across its endless miles of trails for hiking, running, and mountain biking. For a night in, enjoy beautiful Montana sunsets from the private, fenced in backyard and patio.
Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds. The first bedroom is on the main level of the home with direct access to the bathroom. There is plenty of storage with the original built in closets and drawers. The second bedroom is upstairs with a loft style low ceiling and a Smart TV. In the warm weather months, there is a portable AC unit installed in the upstairs bedroom window.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has been thoughtfully updated with a peaceful view of the private backyard. Help yourself to coffee, tea, and essential cooking ingredients.
Living and Dining:

There is one designated parking spot in the driveway. The driveway is narrow, so please be highly attentive when driving in and out, or feel free to utilize the free, unlimited time parking on the opposite side street curb.
Other Things to Note:
- Many of the windows are original to 1866. Please be gentle when opening and closing them. The windows in the living room do not open, but please feel free to make use of the windows that do open and the storm doors for airflow. There are two air conditioning units to help with the daytime heat.
- The driveway is narrow, so please be highly attentive when driving in and out, or feel free to utilize the free, unlimited time parking on the opposite side street curb.
