Sanderland Farm is a fantastic place to stay for the KENTUCKY DERBY
THE HOME
This 3 BR home is located in the middle of 5 peaceful acres in Shelby County KY. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets in the heart of the Kentucky Bourbon area. Located half way between Churchill Downs and Keeneland!! It is approximately a 45 minute drive to either location.
Our home was built in 2020, and we love the modern farmhouse vibe. The first floor has a great room with an electric fireplace with optional heat, a full kitchen with granite countertops, white subway tile backsplash, a large island, and stainless steel appliances. Just next to the kitchen is a large sunroom and it opens up to the generous screened in deck. Also, on the first floor is the primary bedroom with ensuite, double cultured marble sink, a free standing tub and glass enclosed shower. There is a second bedroom and a second bathroom with shower. In the front of the home, there is a covered porch and an open patio perfect for enjoying your coffee and a sunrise.
In the lower level you will find the third bedroom and third full bathroom with shower/tub combo. There is a kitchenette including a sink and refrigerator and access to the side walkout patio. In addition, there is a hearth room with a wood burning stove.
That's not all! Outside you can enjoy an afternoon game of corn hole, an evening around the fire-pit, or just sit and enjoy the fresh air on one of the many outdoor areas. For even more convenience, there is a half bath you can enter directly from outside!
