A short five minute drive from St. John's main town of Cruz Bay brings you to Perelandra where you are welcomed by the lush tropical gardens surrounding the villa. The double door entryway welcomes you into the cozy, sun-filled living room appointed with a comfortable sofa and chairs and a table and chairs for intimate villa dining. A flat screen television with cable, DVD player, VCR, Stereo System with CD player and IPod docking station are found conveniently located in the living room area. There is also an eclectic selection of CDs and DVDs for your listening and viewing pleasure.
A sliding glass and screen door opens from the great room onto the tiled upper deck where you will be greeted with awe-inspiring ocean views. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a half wall allowing for conversation and interaction during meal preparations. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new cabinets and appliances, along with all the features and amenities necessary to prepare a light snack to a gourmet meal. Another sliding glass and screen door opens from the kitchen area to the upper deck where where you can BBQ and enjoy the view while dining alfresco under an open trellis.
Perelandra features two luxuriously appointed bedrooms - 1 with a queen bed and the other with twins that can be converted to a king bed. Each bedroom has individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans and en suite bathrooms with large walk-in tiled showers. The upper bedroom (located on the main level) is accessed by a step up from the great room and has a sliding glass door to a fully screened area on the upper wrap around deck. The private lower bedroom has a HDTV and DVD player and is accessed from the main level by a spiral staircase or directly from the pool deck verandah through yet another sliding glass door set.
The recently renovated pool deck features a pool large enough to cool off and exercise in, but small enough to warm up quickly in the Caribbean sun. There are comfortable lounge chairs and side chairs for sunning around the pool. The pool deck offers beautiful ocean views while providing complete privacy as it is surrounded by garden walls and verdant foliage and flowers.
