Welcome to our newly renovated (2023) guest cottage nestled in the redwoods in the serene Berkeley Hills!
Conveniently located near North Berkeley dining and shopping, Lawrence Berkeley Lab, UC Berkeley Campus, and nature.
We are steps from over 2,000 acres of open space in Tilden Regional Park, with Redwoods, miles of trails, an amazing botanic garden, a golf course, and more!
All of this is accessible by car or the bus line within one block.

The space
The cottage is efficiently laid out - very clean and comfortable. Everything two people could need for a comfortable stay - a queen-sized bed, comfortable lounge chairs, a kitchenette with space for working, and a spacious bathroom. Upon request, we could add a foam mattress for a child. A brand new, highly efficient heater/air conditioner will keep you at your desired comfortable temperature.
We have an off-street parking spot reserved for you, and please note that you will have to walk down a shallow flight of stairs to reach the cottage.
The detached cottage entrance shares a courtyard with the main house. We do have a very sweet and excited dog (cocker spaniel-poodle mix) who will be eager to meet you if you are so inclined. He will be in the house during your stay, but you may hear him on occasion.
Guest access
You have a reserved off-street parking space, and full access to the cottage with a unique keypad access code.
Please note that you will have to walk down a shallow flight of stairs to reach the cottage.
We can provide a clothes iron if needed.
