1 Bedroom Cottage with TV, Balcony and Bedding
Our home is a lovely stone cottage with an attached but separate guest apartment on a beautiful, clean lake in Ottertail County, northwest lakes country in Minnesota. It has great swimming, fishing and boating. Our guest suite is a non-smoking, handicapped accessible efficiency apartment attached to but separate from the main cottage. It is a self enclosed small, lovely space that looks out to the labyrinth and the lake. It has a fully equipped kitchen with complementary coffee/tea, spices and condiments. It has a full bathroom, kitchen table and sitting area. It has one double bed in the main room looking out toward the lake. There is a rollaway bed if needed. The guest apartment has access to a grill, fire pit and dock. We have two kayaks, one paddle board, one canoe and one paddle boat that can be used for free. There is a TV available with local channels but also can use DVD player or chrome cast to stream from your phone.
It is a comfortable, private retreat! It would be perfect for couples or for an individual just to get away.
We live in a small neighborhood on a beautifully clean lake a mile from a small, quaint town and close to a larger and tourist attracting lake called Ottertail with great fishing. There are a lot of things to do in the area including two wonderful state parks Glendalough and Maplewood, with great walking, biking and ski trails. There are local brew pubs, local small town attractions, gorgeous rivers and many, many lakes. Ottertail county is said to have more lakes than any county in the U.S. Our home sits on an acre of land with over 70 trees, a small vegetable garden, flower gardens, grass labyrinth and lots of sitting and reflecting areas. Our neighbors are wonderful, helpful people when needed but it is a private, quiet, restful and beautiful location.
