Shelby Park is a slowly gentrifying area. That being said, when I lived here - I loved running to the park in the morning and doing laps while the kids played soccer in the field. We're only 5 minutes away from the cuter trendier coffee shops and restaurants, and only 10 minutes from downtown. I felt safe here, but unsavory looking characters can sometimes walk around.
Located in a no-frills neighborhood with plenty of free street parking, you’re also just a short walk to a nearby park—ideal for morning runs, workouts, or a breath of fresh air.
