Summary: Parking was easy, as the hotel was almost empty. We had a scare before checking in that the room we had booked (one bedroom suite) wouldn’t be appropriate for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) due to the area with the sofa bed not having blackout curtains. Then, turns out it did have them installed recently. Our kid (it was his birthday) wanted nothing but to swim in the hotel pool. We got changed, walked through the lobby and out to the pool, only to find the pool was shut down due to failing a health inspection. This information could’ve been relayed at check-in or even when we all walked through the hotel in bathing suits. But no, it wasn’t, and my kid was crying due to disappointment. There was no included breakfast (so weird for a courtyard) and the shower, no lie, took over five minutes to get hot water. As a result of not knowing this, several of us took cold showers (is anything worse?!). This was a huge miss for us. We will not return.
