This location is ideal being so close to the Hudson River, Lake George, Lake Luzerne, the Sacandaga River, and is convenient for commuters to I-87, has an airport close by (home to the annual Adirondack Balloon Festival), many marinas, and urban amenities! Ridge Road (Route 9L) will take you north directly into Lake George, where there are beaches, shopping outlets, Lake George Village, and Bolton Landing a little bit further north. Saratoga Springs is a short trip south, where there is the famous Saratoga racetrack, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and outstanding shopping and restaurants. The Adirondacks are at your doorstep and Downtown Glens Falls is moments away – Hometown USA –with fabulous restaurants, theater, and arts district. Take a scenic drive east through the rolling countryside to a quaint Vermont village like Dorset or Manchester. What to expect upon your arrival - There is a five space parking lot to the right upon entering the driveway. You will have a personalized access code programmed into the 2 entrances to be able to come and go as you please throughout your stay. There are 5 guest rooms, all with en suite baths. All guest rooms offer luxurious king size beds, which will be made to perfection with crisp white linens, fresh quilts and comfortors and feather pillows ready for your arrival! All baths are stocked with paper products and fluffy white towels. Each guest room is individually zoned with central air and heat for everyone's comfort! Enjoy the commercial kitchen with stainless steel professional appliances (Frigidaire Commercial refrigerator, Summit freezer, Viking Professional electric oven, microwave, and dishwasher). Gather around the large granite center island and prep meals in this kitchen overlooking the gardens and pool! The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment and utensils, which allow you to cook and bake to your heart's content! Enjoy meals in the eat-in kitchen, in the formal dining room, on the covered back porch, or by the pool! Charcoal and grills are also provided if you would like to cook out under the stars! During your stay, commune with nature in grand style with swimmimg pool surrounded by perennial gardens, lush landscaping, fenced yard, views of sunrises and sets over the mountain ranges of Vermont and the Adirondacks! Located in a Queensbury pocket of historic homes, the setting reflects the home’s roots, nestled near pristine wooded acreage bordered by country stone walls and rural views. Its proximity to the town’s amenities offers a unique opportunity to live a charming lifestyle while remaining close to Queensbury’s urban offerings.
This historic center hall colonial has been completely renovated with preserved multi-pane deep set windows, wide pine floors, beamed ceilings, 3 gas fireplaces, zoned air, automatic standby generator, and walk-in closets. Acreage and mature maples add to the antique ambiance and privacy. Facing southeast, its location allows views of sunrises and sets as well as the mountain ranges of Vermont and the southern Adirondacks.
