Welcome to the Davenport Cabin on magical Lake Cavanaugh! Our cabin in the woods is located on the sunny side of the lake and you'll enjoy 100' of lakefront access complete with private dock, large yard, plus amazing views from the living room and spacious deck. Tons of original mid century charm (+furniture!) with thoughtful upgrades: new mattresses, updated appliances, smart tv, games/movies, and a well-stocked kitchen. Hot Tub, Kayak, and 2 Stand Up Paddleboards.
The cabin was originally built in the 1950s and had a big addition in the 70s. It was in the same family (the Davenports) for over 4 decades. We’ve done our best to preserve all of its special original vibes while making it a great retreat for our family and friends. It is a stellar mix of old + new with plenty of creature comforts. The cabin has a unique layout with a large living room upstairs, a den downstairs, and two bedrooms (1 King and 1 Queen) located on separate floors. This allows for plenty of privacy, but note that both bathrooms are located upstairs. Primary bathroom has a brand new tub and shower. Large deck w/ new charcoal grill, two loungers + outdoor dining table. Updated water filtration system. Lake amenities include standup paddleboards, kayak, loungers, and Adirondack chairs. Upstairs living room is very spacious and has 3 super comfortable recliners + a large gondola sofa (a sleeper with a new mattress), plus a nice big flat screen tv with streaming services + an awesome dvd collection with something for everyone. Hot tub located off the side of the deck. Truly a great getaway no matter what the weather!
The rural location of Lake Cavanaugh means we experience occasional power outages, especially during our legendary PNW winter storms. Rechargeable lanterns are available in the linen closet, plus we have lots of extra blankets and board games to keep you comfortable during brief power outages.
