You can really access most places in New Orleans without a car from this location! You can get around by car, bicycle, street car, or bus, but as a bonus, the house location is suitable for parking cars. It is just 10 blocks from the prestigious Universities, Tulane and Loyola. Less than a mile to Prytania St. or Freret St. 2 blocks from the Uptown Mardi Gras parade route. There are 3 grocery stores within a mile of the house, with Whole Foods being RIGHT across the street. The large Audubon Park is less than a mile from the house and City Park can be reached via streetcar, which is just a 10 block walk. You are close to, but far enough away from the peaceful sounds of the riverboats that travel up and down the Mississippi River. The house can be rented short term on the other side of the duplex. Absolutely NO smoking indoors (cigarettes, vaping, marijuana) or on the front or back porch; No parties; No additional guests, or overnight guests (fee incurs) without prior permission; Quiet hours - please be respectful of the neighbors at all times, but especially during quiet hours; Minimum age to rent is 25 years old.
