This spectacular French Tudor exudes a casual elegance and the comfort of the islands. Inside you will find gleaming wood floors, an elegant fireplace, crown molding and spacious bright rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new refrigerator and dishwasher. Morning coffee? Enjoy the Nespresso machine or cold brew coffee on the the lanai (porch).
Throw open the French doors and take in the spectacular ocean views over Diamond Head crater and the Waikiki skyline. A large covered lanai (porch) is perfect for outdoor dining or watching sunsets. A stunning infinity pool with waterfall, multi-function lighting and dramatic fire-bowls make for the perfect vacation.
This beautiful property is located just off the H-1 Koko Head exit, above Waikiki and Diamond Head in the historical neighborhood of Maunalani Heights. Maunalani Heights was the second suburb built in Honolulu in the 1930's. The Crutchfield Estate was built in 1931 and is on the Historical Register. The neighborhood is very family friendly. There is a park with a playground one block away and at the top of the ridge there is a beautiful hiking trail that takes you along the Ko'olau Mountains. Maunalani heights is just a short drive to Waikiki, world class beaches, and great shopping at Kahala Mall. The airport and Pearl Harbor are a 15-20 minute drive. The North Shore is just 45 minutes away.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and this beautiful historic home! The views of the ocean, Diamond Head, and Waikiki are breathtaking whether from the bedrooms, the lanai, or the spectacular infinity pool and hot tub. The owners obviously take great care of their home and made sure we felt right at home. We were there for Christmas and they left the home decorated and with a pretty Christmas tree so it would feel like the holidays for us. The home is clean, bright, and airy, and the bedrooms are big and air conditioned. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the home. On top of that, the owners are just wonderful. Very easy to communicate with and super helpful (gave us pages of ideas of sights to see, restaurants to try, etc., which was GREAT). If we have the opportunity to return to Oahu, we would definitely want to stay here again.
