Summary: We had a great family vacation at the Thorndike house! There were 10 of us including 5 adults and 5 kids aged 4-11. The house was a rambling older home with a lot of personality and room for everyone to find space to “get away”. Kitchen was very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. It happened to be the hottest and most humid week on the Cape of the summer so the upstairs bedrooms that didn’t have AC got quite warm but it was unusual weather for the Cape. Every day was a beach day and our favorites were Sheep Pond, Paine’s Creek and Mayflower beach. Everyone especially enjoyed the Double Deuce garage with the ping pong table and large sitting area for watching a movie at night. The house had plenty of beach and sports equipment for all ages! The owners were very responsive to our questions. All in all my family had a wonderful time at the Thorndike house! Great value!
